Donor Recognition Policy

At Project Hope Windsor-Essex, we are deeply grateful for the support we receive from our generous donors. Your contributions are crucial to the operation of the Harrow Community Pantry and help us serve those in need within our community.

The Harrow Community Pantry is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who work full-time outside of Project Hope. As such, we are committed to acknowledging and expressing our gratitude to our donors in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.

However, please note that due to our small volunteer team and their time constraints, it may not always be possible for the Harrow Community Pantry to provide recognition for every donation. But rest assured, every contribution is deeply valued and appreciated.

Our recognition of donors may take place in one or more of the following ways:

  1. Direct Acknowledgement: A personal thank you in person, via email, mail, or phone call depending on the circumstance.

  2. Public Recognition: We may recognize our donors collectively on our public communication platforms, including social media. Please contact us to express your wish for public acknowledgment if you so desire, as we can’t assume everyone’s wishes are the same. We are happy to participate in cheque presentations and photos of donation collections by request.

For donors who prefer not to have their contributions recognized publicly or wish to remain anonymous, we fully respect your wishes. Please indicate your preference for anonymity or non-recognition at the time of your donation.

In order to receive recognition for your donation, we kindly ask that you provide your name and a valid email or mailing address. This information will be used solely for the purpose of acknowledging your generous support.

Thank you for your kindness and support of Project Hope Windsor-Essex and the Harrow Community Pantry. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need in our community.

Sincerely,

The Team at Project Hope Windsor-Essex
